The waipio profile was based on lahaina's, which enables host features that Pong's QCA6490 firmware (WLAN.HSP.2.0.c10-00279.2) was never paired with. With it, the firmware crashed on the first data frame of every 2.4 GHz connection, which userspace reported as a wrong password. Follow the feature set of the msm-5.10 qca6490 profile the firmware shipped with: enable the PCIe register window and force wake handling, the blacklist manager, DCS, channel avoidance and TSF sync, and drop SAR V1 to V2 conversion, multi-parameter WMI commands, the feature set and vendor handoff interfaces, deferred peer and REO queue teardown and the SAP ACS and pre-CAC features. Host-only debug options stay as they were, as this version of the driver no longer builds without some of them. |
